Bluey Verandah Santa, a new EP inspired by the fan-favorite episode “Verandah Santa,” features four seasonal tracks composed by Joff Bush and The Bluey Music Team. The release is available now on CD and all major streaming platforms through BBC Studios’ Demon Music Group, including limited-edition vinyl options.
The EP came out on November 7 and it available now for streaming at no cost, but collectors and vinyl enthusiasts might be even more interested in the Christmas albums physical versions. The CD single includes exclusive Ludo Studio artwork in special rectangular packaging, while fans can also pick up a 7-inch White Vinyl or a Walmart-exclusive Gold Vinyl edition.

Composer Joff Bush said: “This is a truly great representation of an Australian Christmas! It was created using score from the original episode to make sure when you listen to this track you can feel like you’re back in the episode and playing along with Bluey and her family!”
Verandah Santa
This piece expands on the episode’s theme with contributions from Emma Dean, Joe Twist, and Camerata – Queensland’s Chamber Orchestra. It blends classical influence with nostalgic holiday charm.
The Bluey Music Team said: “We wanted to have a fun take on Tchaikovsky’s Christmas classic, ’The Nutcracker’ (one of our favourite pieces) because a fun Christmas needs fun music! We also wanted a 50s Disney-esque sound like some of our favorite Christmas records.”
I Don’t Have a Chimney (feat. Emma Dean)
A brand-new song on the EP, this track explores a common childhood question: how does Santa visit homes without chimneys?
Joff said: “We found ourselves writing the lyrics in the style of Emma’s young Santa-obsessed kids – resulting in many guffaws and grins! We had so much fun writing and recording this EP together.”
Bluey Theme Tune (Christmas Version)
The beloved Bluey theme receives a festive update, incorporating musical nods to classic holiday songs and moments from the show’s soundtrack.
“We had heaps of fun adding to the original extended theme from the first album with snippets from other tracks like ‘Instrument Parade’ and some references to ‘Jingle Bells’ and ‘Joy To The World’ – and of course adding some fun percussion and other Christmassy flair!,” Joff added.
Bluey’s Growing Music Success
In July 2025, Bluey surpassed one billion lifetime audio streams across all platforms, marking another major milestone in the franchise’s expanding musical footprint. The team continues to earn significant recognition, including the AACTA Award for Best Original Score in Television (2025).
Bluey: Rug Island debuted at number one on both the Kids Albums and Soundtracks charts on Billboard in 2024.
